The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm.
Board members present: Supervisors Sandberg, Varichak, Lucas, Clerk Schanche, Treasurer Samsa.
The minutes of the March meeting were read and approved.
Treasurers Report
On motion by Varichak, second by Lucas, the Treasurer’s Report was approved as read.
Fire Report
There was 1 fire call and 3 EMS call in March.
Building & Grounds & Roads
The culverts on Sunset Lane and McCarthy Beach Road were cleaned out.
Old Business
Quotes for converting existing lighting in the Town Hall were:
Little Sturgeon Electric $2892.82
Safe T Electric $8,980
Motion by Sandberg, second by Varichak to accept the quote from Little Sturgeon Electric, motion carried.
After discussion, motion was made by Varichak, second by Lucas to accept the quote from Northland Lawn Sport and Equipment for a replacement John Deere lawn tractor for $13,917.44 less $4675 trade in. Motion carried.
New Business
Motion by Varichak, second by Lucas to approve the Liquor License Application to the County for Side Lake Store. Motion carried.
Motion by Sandberg, second by Lucas to adopt the revised French Township Administration Policy. Motion
carried.
The Supervisors will conduct the annual road review meeting on May 9 th at 4:30 pm.
The correspondence was read.
Motion by Varichak, second by Lucas to approve the bills, motion carried.
