The meeting was called to order at 7:03pm.
The minutes of the November meeting were read and approved.
The Treasurer’s Report was approved as read.
Fire Report
There were 2 EMS calls and 4 Fire calls in November.
The department received a $8,347 grant to purchase a washing machine for the firefighter turnout gear.
Old Business
Chairman Schuster informed the Board that he has been in contact with the MN Township Association and attorney in regards to the accusation by Tom Stonich. It is their opinion that the Clerk was working fully within the scope of duties when writing a letter, at the request of residents, to inquire proper procedures for lodging a complaint with the MPCA.
New Business
Mike Berkland and Todd Johnson from Lake Country Power were present to discuss the dispatching procedures for outages during the last storm and how they are prioritized. They answered questions from the audience.
A group of residents were present asking questions and giving suggestions about a future Community Emergency Response Plan, which would include contact information for all area agencies.
The bills were reviewed and approved.
