So many of you have inquired about exercise classes in Side Lake! There are many upcoming opportunities for you to participate in local classes happening at the Side Lake Rec!
Carolyn Bjur, Licenced Physical Therapist, will be offering a Strength and Balance Class as well as Fall Risk Prevention for Seniors on Tuesday, August 29th at 11:00 am at the Side Lake Rec. All are welcome to attend, no matter your age, and the class is free! She will also be offering classes in January and February, so watch for future details on those weekly classes this winter!
In addition, Pam Angen, Licensed Massage Therapist from Side Lake Therapeutic Massage, will be sponsoring classes starting in September that will also be offered free to the public and held at the Side Lake Rec!
These classes will be starting September 5th and will be scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6 pm. There will be dates when there will be no class, so watch for notices posted at the Rec and online for any change of dates or cancellations.
This class will be using the Online Workout Videos that have been recorded by Jen Gigliotti from 30West and will include: Strength Training, Cardio, Sculpt, HIIT, IGNITE, Tabatas, and more…there are tons to choose from! There are also a few Pilates and Yoga workouts. These workouts will last less than an hour. Bring a mat and good indoor workout shoes. Some classes may require weights or other items, but equipment or specific items will be posted here and on the Side Lake Strong! Facebook page as needed.
