The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm.
The minutes of the December meeting were read and approved.
The Treasurer’s Report was approved as read.
Fire Report
There was 1 Fire call and 2 EMS calls in December.
Total for the year was 17 Fire and 40 EMS calls.
New Business
After discussion, the motion was made, seconded and carried to offer the Rec building for post funeral gatherings for local residents at no charge.
The February regular meeting will be held Monday the 3rd of February.
Old Business
There was a discussion on the Assessor Contract. The county has offered to pay French Township $9500 per year through December 31, 2015 towards the current contract with John Hulstrand. The yearly contract is $19,680. A motion was made, seconded and carried to honor the Contract with John Hulstrand through December 31, 2015 to continue performing the assessing duties. Bill will have future negotiations with the County for payments.
The bills were approved.
