Join us for the 2nd annual Celebrate Side Lake Event! This free, family-friendly event is open to the public and welcome to all. Activities take place at the Side Lake Rec Center on August 18, 2022 from 3:00pm-7:00pm.
Highlights include bingo, live music from “McCarthy Beats,” magician show, petting zoo from Cook’s Country Connection, three giant bounce houses, and a mobile axe-throwing trailer. Several games, activities and crafts will be set up for kids of ages. Many prizes, books and treats will be on-hand!
A variety of food trucks will be onsite with delicious appetizers, meals and desserts for purchase. Choose from seven different vendors and be sure to bring your appetite!
We are excited to welcome over 25 local businesses to showcare handmade products. Browse through the vendors including soaps, candles, quilts, stained glass, clothing, books and more!
Several local organizations will be available for education and questions including the local lake association, DNR Forestry and Conservation officers, Fire/EMS volunteers and others.
We encourage you to come and enjoy an exciting evening with your community and support these local businesses. General parking will be at the top of the hill in the skating rink and handicapped accessible parking will be at the bottom of the hill, closer to the event. Side by side rides will be available for anyone unable to walk into the event.
